Clay Luminaries: Ceramics Workshop

Join The Walter Hive in their maker-space for a ceramics workshop! Learn the therapeutic benefits of working with clay and create a luminary using raw red clay with holes/spaces for light to shine through. No experience is necessary and instruction and materials will be provided. This class is for ages 11 and up.
*Note – in this workshop you will create the piece and leave it at Walter Hive to dry and be fired. No glaze will be applied to showcase the beauty of the red clay. Artwork will be available for pick up after October 26th.
For safety, please bring closed toe shoes, an wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
